Mediterranean Summer Tango Festival – 4-9 July 2018 – Porec – Croatia

Mediterranean Summer Tango Festival is a six day tango heaven, featuring world's finest maestros, internationally praised DJ's and hundreds of dancers from all around the world. There are special seminars and technique class, but also legendary Boat Trip and daily Pool Parties, all of which combined create a unique experience everyone's talking about.

On the 4th March, it is bringing Folklore and Groundness to our Tango

on Gato, Escondido, Chacarera Secrets
(live folklore music by Los Sacha Amigos)

You will discover the essence of Argentinian Folklore by one of the most recognised Folklore Teachers in the world.
Everybody knows how linked the roots of tango are to the Folklore, so don’t miss this opportunity to explore this connections that will improve your dance enormously.

Then at 5.00 PM
You’ll have the popular General Class, once again by David, Daniel and Diego, 3D

And followed at 6.00 PM with the Classic 3D Milonga until midnight.

About Pamela Roldan:
Born in Argentina, Pamela Roldán began her career at the age of six in Los Polvorines, a small town located in Buenos Aires province, dancing and performing with Ballet del Sur folk group in the local scene. She studied to become a teacher of Argentine Folklore and Tango at Instituto Folklórico Argentino and at Universidad Nacional de las Artes (formerly IUNA) in Buenos Aires. Her knowledge of the physical and emotional side of dance and movement allows her to work in deep connection with the students needs, balancing theoretical with expressive content. Her workshops are dynamic and entertaining, often leaving people deeply inspired by her grace and passion.

A friendly atmosphere in which to explore your tango technique. Feel free to ask questions,or share your tips. Put all those classes to good use by taking time to practice. Guided by Nozomi and Mark, it is only £6 for 3 hours. Come along to the beautiful skylit room.

23rd February – Milonga La Gata (Lisbon)

Day 23 February is our III birthday and to celebrate in great we invite to music the night the great musicalizador Argentine Diego Doigneau!!!! You can't miss! Meow!!!!

Diego doigneau

Born in Argentina, he studied music and theatre. IN THE LAST 9 years is DJ resident at negracha tango club, London's biggest milonga. He was also a DJ at internationally renowned festivals, including the river tango in London, the Mediterranean Summer Tango Festival in porec, the circuit circuit in Turin, practice x and viva la pepa in Buenos Aires. He is currently organizing a new tango project in London called MILONGA 3 D. His work in milonga consists mainly of creating the journey that the milongueros will carry out that night through music, as it selects the songs constantly varying from atmosphere. The Core of the night will be based on golden age orchestras, but it all depends on the night, and where it will lead us.
